Dublin Dublin is one of Europe's
hotspots for weekend breaks. Its airport is located 6 miles
to the north of the city centre, with excellent motorway links
to the M50 and M1. Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) is the
City's electrified railway running along the bay. The city
sits astride the River Liffey which divides the Northside and
Southside. With over 1000 years of history the city has
witnessed many changes, not least of which have been in the last
10 years, due to EU subsidies and local successes.
